This was a pull-out plan in Model Airplane News, and it was a fairly popular building project at the time. I never realized it before, because I didn’t build one, but the plan seems to have a few discrepancies. For instance, F5 and F5A make no allowance for the fact that the bulkhead has to be wider above the side sheeting than it is between the fuselage sides. As the bulkheads are shown on the plan, the result will be bumpy Monokote. My bulkheads are recessed between the sides, so the edges of the top of the bulkheads can be flush with the fuselage sides. If you’re building one of these, I presume that you can figure it out anyway.
