The Eagle 2 was an iconic 40 size trainer kitted by Goldberg, now discontinued.

Trailing edge is 3/8 balsa.  Wing sheeting is 3/32 balsa.  I don’t have access to the specially shaped rails for the hatch, so the hatch parts are cut with the assumption that they will fit on top of the fuselage sides.  If you’re ambitious enough you can make basswood rails like the ones in the original kit, and trim the hatch parts to match.
