I omitted the slots in the front half of the fuselage side, but kept the slots in the doublers, and I shortened the tabs on the bulkheads and the cockpit floor. \u00a0As a result, the fuselage still fits together with tabs and slots, but the tabs don\u2019t protrude all the way through the fuselage side. \u00a0This should make the plane a little bit prettier when you cover it. \u00a0Other than that, the wing and fuselage are pretty much stock.<\/p>\n

Choose the standard firewall or the optional 4 stroke firewall to build the 4 stroke version shown on the plan.\u00a0 The fuselage side and doubler are the same in either case.\u00a0 It\u2019s just the firewall that\u2019s different.<\/p>\n

Also, my short kit doesn\u2019t include any part of the horizontal stabilizer\u00a0or\u00a0the elevators. \u00a0The original design calls for the horizontal stabilizer to be built from 1\/4\u2033 sticks on top of a lite ply template\u00a0for ease of building. \u00a0This always seemed a bit cheesy to me, and I think it would be stronger and lighter if you build it\u00a0out of 3\/8\u2033 sticks. \u00a0If you absolutely have to have the lite ply base for the stabilizer, send me an email and I\u2019ll try to talk you out of it. \u00a0If you still want it, I\u2019ll cut it out for you.<\/p>\n

Outerzone now has both versions of the Bingo, the original one from RCM and the one included in the Ace kit. \u00a0My kit is designed from the RCM version. \u00a0I don\u2019t know if there\u2019s a difference, but in case there is you should print the RCM plan when you build my kit.<\/p>\n

Ken Cigler has kindly shared some photos of his Bingo built from my kit. \u00a0Ken builds some really pretty airplanes, and this one is no exception. \u00a0His plane is the red and gold one.\u00a0 He says it flies great!<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve also received some photos from Jeff Anderson of his red, white, and blue Bingo. \u00a0Both of these guys used Super Tigre 2 stroke engines. \u00a0Sounds like fun to me!<\/p>\n
