As noted on the plan and in the article, there is no dihedral brace. \u00a0The wing is to be joined in the center with glass cloth and resin. \u00a0For those who like dihedral braces, I have included one to be attached to the back of the main spars.<\/p>\n

It is never mentioned anywhere in the article or on the plan, but dihedral should be 1\/2\u2033 at each tip rib. \u00a0I got this number by scaling it from the original 60 size Bingo.<\/p>\n
The plan is terrible.\u00a0 It looks good at a glance but it has a shocking number of inconsistencies and inaccurate dimensions. \u00a0Don\u2019t be alarmed when you print the plan and the parts don’t match.\u00a0 I\u2019ve designed the parts so they will fit together properly.<\/p>\n
I cut out a kit and built one myself, which is shown in the gallery photos.\u00a0 It\u2019s powered by an OS 26 Surpass, which provides all the power it needs. \u00a0It flies really well and tends to be pitch neutral when balanced at the back edge of the main spar, meaning that if you\u2019re flying along and pitch the nose up 5 degrees it will continue in that attitude. \u00a0Ditto for pointing the nose down. \u00a0It just stays that way until you change it. \u00a0It\u2019s a really nice little plane.<\/p>\n
I received a photo from Kevin Wilfong, who built the beautiful Bingo 20 in the main product photo.\u00a0 The photo with the little girl is from the original magazine article, and the other two are my plane.<\/p>\n
