The short kit comes with two firewalls. \u00a0One has notches for the engine rails as shown on the plan, and the other is solid with no notches, for use with a nylon engine mount. \u00a0You\u2019ll receive both, so you can make the decision as you build.<\/p>\n
When you order the kit, an alternate wing is available\u00a0with 3\/8\u2033 balsa leading edges\u00a0and\u00a03\/16\u2033 square hardwood spars. \u00a0The alternate wing is built with leading and trailing edge sheeting and cap strips. \u00a0Space the ribs about 3\u2033 apart, and there are no half-ribs (W1 on the plan).<\/p>\n
Or you could get this kit with the standard wing as shown on the plan. \u00a0Let me know which you prefer.<\/p>\n
