The plan shows a foam wing, but the kit includes a set of ribs for a balsa wing.\u00a0 1\/4\u2033 jig holes are included.\u00a0 Rib spacing is 1 7\/16\u2033 for the first two spaces, then 2 7\/8\u2033 the rest of the way out to the wing tip, making a total length of 31.5\u2033 for each panel.<\/p>\n
Use a piece of triangle stock for a Hoerner tip, or add tip plates, or whatever type of tip you like, and wrap the center section joint with glass cloth and epoxy.<\/p>\n
Fin, rudder, stabilizer and elevator parts are included, accounting for a large portion of the cost of the kit.\u00a0 The top and bottom of the fuselage, as noted on the plan, are made from 3\/16\u2033 balsa.\u00a0 As these are just a bunch of rectangles, they are not included, except the aft top piece which is slotted for the fin.<\/p>\n
