Watch out for the plan on this one because there are several mistakes.\u00a0 Although the plan shows Bulkhead #3, this bulkhead is not depicted in the fuselage side view.\u00a0 I cut it to fit behind the first round lightening hole, about 9.5 inches behind Bulkhead #2.<\/p>\n
Another issue is that the bulkead face view does not show the bulkheads the correct size to fit in the places they belong.\u00a0 Don’t be concerned about this because I have cut the bulkheads so they fit in the fuselage.<\/p>\n
There is something weird going on at the wing root.\u00a0 The plan shows it without any ribs.\u00a0 This seems unnatural to me, so I added a couple of extra ribs.\u00a0 This will allow you to put them at the wing root where one would expect to find ribs.\u00a0 I’ll leave it to you to notch your ribs and install the included dihedral braces.<\/p>\n
And of course the wing rib on the plan doesn’t match the wing top view on the plan.\u00a0 Just use the ribs and build the wing and don’t worry about the rib length.\u00a0 It\u00a0 will all work out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
