Description

I wanted to make a fuselage jig, so I asked a friend who builds cabinets if he had any extra wood lying around.  He had two 12″ x 48″ pieces, but I finished only one fuselage jig with bolts and braces.  The extra one has been sitting around for 8 or 9 years, so now it’s time to get rid of it.

The platform is marked at 1 inch intervals.  It comes with a bunch of little plywood rectangles for you to glue together to make the braces.  Then you’ll have to go to the hardware store and find some long bolts and wing nuts to hold the braces, and you’ll also have to drill holes in the platform to mount the bolts.  The following photos show the general idea of what you’re building.
